About the Role
Vannguard Utility Partners Inc. is seeking responsible, self-motivated individuals to join our team as Underground Utility Locators. This role offers a rewarding career defined by the freedom of outdoor work and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on community safety.
As an Underground Utility Locator, you will serve as a critical link in the excavation, landscaping, and construction communities. Your primary mission is to prevent damages and ensure safety by accurately identifying underground cables, pipes, and other utilities. You will drive a company vehicle to various job sites, utilizing computer utility maps and specialized equipment to locate electric, gas, telephone, and communication lines. The role requires a problem-solver who is not afraid of hard work, takes pride in completing a job well done, and is committed to safety.
We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working independently, pay close attention to detail, and can effectively communicate with supervisors and clients. While we provide comprehensive training for the right individual, success in this role requires a strong attitude and a dedication to quality.
