About the Role
Envent Corporation is seeking a skilled and driven Project Field Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with hands-on refinery experience who thrives in a field environment. The Project Field Engineer serves as the primary technical authority on-site, overseeing project execution and planning at customer sites to ensure technical excellence, safety compliance, and seamless coordination between engineering, operations, and client stakeholders.
You will lead on-site execution of field engineering projects from planning through completion, managing regional P&L and controlling costs to maximize profitability. Your day-to-day involves interpreting engineering drawings, coordinating closely with field crews and subcontractors, and directly managing a team of field technicians. You will foster a culture of accountability and safety, conducting regular toolbox talks and ensuring all team members are trained and competent before commencing work.
This position requires a flexible schedule aligned with 24/7 field operations and approximately 50% travel to project sites. You will serve as the primary on-site technical liaison between Envent, the customer, and internal departments, resolving technical conflicts related to process and mechanical design while building strong working relationships with client personnel.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or related discipline
- verifiedMinimum 5 years of progressive field engineering experience in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments
- verifiedValid driver's license and proof of insurance
- verifiedValid TWIC card, RSO, or comparable refinery area access credential
- verifiedAbility to travel approximately 50% of the time
- verifiedAbility to work a flexible schedule aligned with 24/7 field operations
Nice to Have
Background in degassing, vapor control, water treatment, natural gas compression, or industrial turnaround projects. Experience with project scheduling tools (MS Project or similar).
