About the Role
Envent Corporation is seeking a skilled and driven Project Field Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with hands-on refinery experience who thrives in a field environment. The Project Field Engineer will be responsible for overseeing project execution and planning at customer sites, ensuring technical excellence, safety compliance, and seamless coordination between engineering, operations, and client stakeholders.
You will serve as the primary technical authority on-site, leading the execution of field engineering projects from planning through completion. Your day-to-day work involves overseeing operations at refineries and industrial facilities, ensuring all work aligns with project plans, safety requirements, and engineering specifications. You will act as the critical bridge between Envent, the customer, and internal departments, resolving technical conflicts and recommending practical engineering solutions.
This position requires a leader who can foster a culture of accountability and safety within field teams while managing regional P&L and controlling costs. You will be the face of Envent at the site, building strong relationships with client personnel, including field engineers, operators, and project managers. Success in this role demands a proactive safety mindset and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under field conditions.
Work Environment & Travel
The primary work environment is on-site at refineries, petrochemical plants, and industrial facilities. You must be prepared for exposure to outdoor environments, varying weather conditions, and industrial hazards consistent with refinery site work. The role requires physical fitness to pass a company physical examination, with the ability to walk, stand, climb, and work in confined or elevated environments.
Travel is a significant component of this position, requiring approximately 50% of your time at project sites. You must be available to support a flexible schedule aligned with 24/7 field operations. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and the ability to obtain necessary access credentials (such as a TWIC card or RSO) are required to perform these duties.
