About the Role

The Project Engineer serves as the technical source of information for the project, requiring a thorough knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. This role is pivotal in maintaining effective and professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. You will be the go-to resource for questions regarding drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders.

This position is structured into three progressive steps (I, II, and Senior) to support the growth of your skills and experience. As a Project Engineer, you will not only manage technical details but also assist in the supervision and training of Field Engineers, ensuring the relentless execution of project goals.

Key Responsibilities

check_circleReview submittals for compliance with contract documents and coordinate with other trades
check_circlePrepare and review change orders, including time extensions, and maintain the change order log
check_circlePrepare quantity reporting mechanisms and coordinate agendas and minutes for project meetings
check_circleMaintain as-built contract documents and compile close-out requirements such as manuals and warranties
check_circlePrevent, identify, and mitigate potential claims and resolve their effects on a timely basis
check_circleParticipate in concrete form design, equipment selection, and material takeoffs for various trades
check_circleDevelop procurement schedules and integrate them with the project CPM schedule
check_circleAdminister budgeting and cost control processes to ensure projects stay within approved budgets
