About the Role
The Project Engineer serves as the technical source of information for the project, requiring a thorough knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. This role is pivotal in maintaining effective and professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. You will respond to complex questions regarding drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders, while potentially assisting with the supervision and training of Field Engineers.
This position offers a clear path for growth through three distinct steps (I, II, and Senior), allowing for a progression of skill and experience. Whether you are entering the field or advancing your career, you will be part of a team striving to be the most skilled builder in America.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleReview all submittals for compliance with contract documents and coordinate with other trades
- check_circleMaintain as-built contract documents and compile close-out requirements including manuals and warranties
- check_circlePrepare and review change orders, including time extensions, before submittal to the owner
- check_circlePrepare quantity reporting mechanisms and maintain various project logs and meeting minutes
- check_circleUnderstand and apply project management plan components to ensure successful project execution
- check_circleParticipate in concrete form design, equipment selection, and material takeoffs for various trades
- check_circlePrevent, identify, quantify, and mitigate potential claims on a timely basis
- check_circleDevelop procurement schedules and integrate them with the project CPM schedule
- check_circleAdminister budgeting and cost control processes to keep projects within approved budgets
Requirements
