The Texas Trophy Hunters Association (TTHA) serves as the "Voice of Texas Hunting," dedicated to uniting all segments of the hunting community to promote, protect, and preserve Texas' wildlife resources and hunting heritage for future generations. For over 45 years, TTHA has stood as a leader in the Texas outdoor community, providing education and entertainment to its members and supporters. Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, TTHA is a division of Safari Club International and is recognized as the most prestigious and respected deer hunting organization in the state, with a reputation that extends beyond state lines.
As a member-based organization, TTHA offers a bi-monthly publication, The Journal of the Texas Trophy Hunters, and hosts annual consumer shows known as the Hunters Extravaganzas. The organization focuses on providing resources and education for not only deer hunting but for all forms of Texas hunting.
At Safari Club International, our values guide everything we do. We seek candidates who embody our HUNTER mindset:
All applicants should demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, hunting as an essential part of biologically sound and ethically responsible international wildlife management. The ideal candidate will have some existing knowledge of TTHA's current programs and mission and be passionate about hunter's rights.
The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the administration team, responsible for leading and managing projects with a high degree of autonomy to ensure alignment with organizational and departmental goals. This role oversees the full project lifecycle—from planning through execution and evaluation—while exercising independent judgment in prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making.
In a small team environment, the role balances both strategic oversight and hands-on execution across a wide range of initiatives, including events, fundraising, marketing, and operational projects. You will partner closely with leadership, including the CEO and department managers, to support strategic initiatives and organizational objectives. The position requires occasional travel to trade shows and events to increase membership growth.
Interested candidates should apply through the Safari Club International careers page. Please review the Benefit Summary for more details on our full benefits package.
