About the Role
Join PM2CM to work on the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Bond Program as a Project Accountant. In this position, you will play a vital role in managing construction and professional services invoice workflows for one of the largest community college construction programs in the nation. You will serve as the subject matter expert for invoice processing, ensuring strict compliance with program procedures while acting as a bridge between project teams, finance, and external vendors.
Your day-to-day involves reviewing general contractor payment applications, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate vendor payment records to support audit readiness. You will communicate directly with contractors, suppliers, and consultants regarding payment status, delivering excellent service to internal teams and resolving invoice issues or payment delays efficiently. This role requires balancing independent work with collaborative efforts in a fast-paced environment to support cost tracking and expenditure control.

Requirements

Project accounting experience (especially in capital programs or construction), familiarity with public sector or government accounting, and construction industry exposure.
