About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Tax Services, the Project Accountant serves as a vital link in our team, preparing monthly accounting work for an assigned section of small business clients. This role is designed for those with a strong foundation in accounting fundamentals who are eager to grow; it offers a clear, natural path forward to becoming an Accounting & Tax Manager.\n In this position, you will partner with the team to communicate proactively with clients, ensuring monthly information flows on schedule. You will perform bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for 30–40 clients while assisting Accounting & Tax Managers with tax and backwork projects. The role also involves performing quality control reviews of Staff Accountant work, ensuring compliance and accuracy before final review. This is an opportunity to do work that matters, helping small business owners build stronger businesses within a collaborative environment of experienced CPAs, EAs, and CPPs.
