About the Role

This position serves as the critical bridge between LG Display and its automotive customers, ensuring the successful delivery of complex programs from initial concept through series production. As the primary point of contact, you will own the full product lifecycle, managing program awards, supplier selection, development, and launch while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet strict timing, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

The role is designed for a leader who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment. You will facilitate clear communication between customers and internal engineering teams, resolving business and technical challenges with tailored solutions. Your day-to-day involves driving program execution, managing risks, and leading change management processes to ensure alignment with design, cost, and timing commitments. You will represent LG Display with professionalism and accountability, building strong relationships that drive long-term business success.

The Team & Mission

You will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality automotive display solutions. Our mission is to execute programs that meet or exceed LGD expectations while maintaining rigorous compliance with global standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 17025. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of automotive product development processes and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleServe as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams to resolve business issues
  • check_circleManage assigned programs across the full product lifecycle from award to post-production
  • check_circleClarify customer requirements and provide tailored solutions for business and engineering challenges
  • check_circleLead the global Change Management process to ensure alignment with design, cost, and timing commitments
  • check_circleEstablish and monitor top-level program plans including milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements
  • check_circleFacilitate meetings between LG Display and customers to align on project goals and timelines
  • check_circleManage the Series Production phase including claims management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • check_circleConduct business travel to manufacturing sites to support customer visits and project reviews

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor's degree required or equivalent experience (three additional years of relevant technical experience)
  • verifiedMinimum of 5 years of project and/or program management experience within the automotive industry

  • verifiedBilingual in Korean and English preferred

Nice to Have

Technical or engineering degree. Experience coaching or developing project and/or program managers. Project Management certification. Prior experience in a Program manager or Design release engineer environment. Bilingual in Korean and English.
