Program Manager

About the Role

This position serves as the critical bridge between LG Display and its automotive customers, ensuring the successful delivery of complex programs from initial concept through series production. As the primary point of contact, you will own the full product lifecycle, managing program awards, supplier selection, development, and launch while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet strict timing, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

The role is designed for a leader who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment. You will facilitate clear communication between customers and internal engineering teams, resolving business and technical challenges with tailored solutions. Your day-to-day involves driving program execution, managing risks, and leading change management processes to ensure alignment with design, cost, and timing commitments. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

verifiedBachelor's degree required or equivalent experience (three additional years of relevant technical experience)
verifiedMinimum of 5 years of project and/or program management experience within the automotive industry
verifiedProject Management certification preferred
verifiedBilingual in Korean and English preferred
verifiedProficient in Microsoft Office Suite
verifiedFamiliarity with project management tools and software
verifiedSolid understanding of automotive product development processes
verifiedWorking knowledge of APQP
verifiedCompliance with IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE, ISO 17025

Nice to Have

Technical or engineering degree. Experience coaching or developing project and/or program managers. Project Management certification. Prior experience in a Program manager or Design release engineer environment. Bilingual in Korean and English.
