The Facilities Mechanical Engineer is a pivotal role within our industrial manufacturing environment, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager. This position is dedicated to maintaining, improving, and optimizing the performance, reliability, and compliance of our facility mechanical systems. You will serve as a bridge between engineering and operations, leading facility capital projects from initial concept through final commissioning.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Maintenance, Production, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Engineering teams to ensure safe operations, enhance energy efficiency, and drive cost reduction. Your day-to-day involves analyzing utility usage, troubleshooting system performance issues, and overseeing contractors during construction and modification efforts. You will be responsible for developing technical specifications, reviewing complex mechanical drawings, and implementing reliability improvements that support our production, quality, and safety requirements.
