The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) provides the youth of our city with a sense of belonging and vital tools to succeed in life. Our mission is to encourage a diverse population of high-need young people to explore their full potential through academic, career, family, and community life. We offer a wide range of services including academic support, college counseling, job placement, substance use and violence prevention education, crisis intervention, leadership development, and technology training.
As a Program Leader for our Elementary Summer Program, you will join a dedicated team to build a positive and supportive environment for transitional kindergarten through 5th-grade students. This role is designed to support youth in their academic, social, and emotional development during the summer term. You will guide children in literacy, math, STEM, and age-appropriate recreational activities, serving as a positive mentor and role model. The position requires fostering a safe environment while collaborating with site staff, teachers, and parents to ensure consistent communication regarding student progress and goals.
