The Office of the Provost serves as the primary central administrative unit for George Mason University's academic programs, overseeing curriculum, instructional personnel, assessment, accreditation, and the overall academic mission. Within this office, the Office of Undergraduate Education manages programs spanning all colleges and schools, including the Mason Core, University Studies, and the Office of Academic Advising.

The Office of Student Creative Activities and Research (OSCAR) is a national award-winning undergraduate research office. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the OSCAR team by providing George Mason students with undergraduate research and creative opportunities. The Program Coordinator will lead outreach and student engagement efforts, managing digital communications, marketing materials, and class visits to promote undergraduate research.
In this hybrid role, you will supervise student staff and oversee major initiatives, including the OSCAR Seminar Series and the Celebration of Student Scholarship. You will work within a fast-paced environment to build community among research cohorts and execute events that showcase student scholarship three times a year.
