About the Role
The Student Recruitment and Admissions Specialist plays a critical role in expanding the reach and impact of Job Corps / Equus Workforce Solutions. This position requires a high level of professionalism and dedication to effectively communicate our services to the community and potential program participants.
You will serve as the primary bridge between the program and the youth it serves, executing targeted recruitment initiatives to identify and engage eligible candidates. Your day-to-day involves conducting comprehensive outreach in diverse settings, from local communities and agencies to American Job Centers and public events. Beyond recruitment, you will facilitate in-depth orientations and interviews with applicants, ensuring a thorough understanding of the program and suitability assessment, including parental involvement for minors.
As a key communicator, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance awareness of workforce services, creating professional social media content and high-quality materials for websites, blogs, and newsletters. You will also foster strategic partnerships with community organizations to design and market programmatic information, ensuring maximum community engagement and program utilization.
