The Program Assistant serves as a vital support pillar within the Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). You will act as the operational backbone for department leaders, faculty, and staff, ensuring the seamless coordination of day-to-day program activities. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison across internal departments, research teams, and external partners. Your day will involve balancing multiple priorities, from managing executive calendars and coordinating travel to preparing critical documents like reports and biosketches. You will also play a crucial part in financial compliance, assisting with budget tracking and expense processing in strict adherence to institutional and grant guidelines.
