SPA delivers high-impact, technical solutions to complex national security issues. With over 50 years of business expertise and consistent growth, we are known for continuous innovation for our government customers, both in the US and abroad. Our exceptionally talented team is highly collaborative in spirit and practice, producing Results that Matter. We offer opportunity, unique challenges, and a clear-sighted commitment to the mission: Objective. Responsive. Trusted.
The AUKUS, Submarines, and Industrial Base Group (ASIG), within the Sea, Land, Air Division, provides timely, objective analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy, and business analysis to NAVSEA Team Submarine program offices and key stakeholders. Team Submarine unifies submarine platform procurement activities, including the Columbia-class SSBN program (the Navy's top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program, and the new SSN-X program. These are high-profile, major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition.
As a Program Analyst supporting Team Submarine, you will play a critical role in the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Personnel Exchange Program lifecycle, managing a peak population of over 400 members. This position serves as a vital bridge between Commander Submarine Forces (CSF) AUKUS and Commander Submarine Forces Pacific (CSP). You will exercise project leadership while developing and maintaining advanced database tools to ensure data integrity and strategic alignment. A key part of your day involves facilitating clear communication between RAN liaison officers, the RAN Naval Attaché Office, and USN fleet stakeholders, building new relationships as necessary. You will organize and support virtual and in-person meetings where complex trilateral coordination is accomplished, while motivating and leading purpose-built teams across functional, organizational, and international boundaries to accomplish objectives.
Candidates must possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to maintain it throughout employment. The selection process will focus on verifying your experience with Federal Government operations, specifically within Echelon 3+ Navy staff or TYCOM environments, and your ability to draft formal correspondence and flag-level briefings.
SPA is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
