Technicians at the Toledo facility are hired into a dynamic environment where growth is directly tied to skill acquisition. We utilize a pay-for-skills progression system, rewarding continuous learning and mastery of production technologies. Starting pay is $22.40, with structured increases to $25.22 after one year, $30.27 after three years, and $33.41 after four years. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for our 2nd and 3rd shift operations.
This role is the backbone of our plant's production and packaging lines. As a Technician, you will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various production equipment. Your day will involve a blend of technical precision and physical activity, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently. You will be expected to flow between different areas of production and packaging, supporting the team as needed. The role requires the safe operation of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, alongside the proficient use of basic hand tools.
Success in this position requires a commitment to safety and quality. You will adhere strictly to company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain a secure work environment. The role demands strong communication skills to interpret safety documents and instructions, as well as the ability to apply common sense to carry out both oral and written directives. You will also utilize computer systems to input and review data, ensuring accurate record-keeping throughout the production process.
