About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, people-focused Production Team Leader to join our Inspection & Packing department. In this role, you will combine hands-on involvement with day-to-day production and frontline leadership to ensure targets are hit and quality is never compromised.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you lead from the front. Your day will involve actively working within the production area while balancing leadership responsibilities, conducting team briefings to highlight priorities, and ensuring your team is production-ready. You will plan labour resources to deliver the schedule effectively and work cross-functionally with management, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and drive improvements. This is an opportunity to make pragmatic decisions, influence positive change, and take ownership of implementing corrective actions to uphold our health, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements
- verifiedProven track record in supervisory or team leader role in manufacturing
- verifiedIn-depth knowledge of health & safety and quality systems
- verifiedIT literacy (Microsoft Office and production systems)
- verifiedExperience working with automated control systems
- verifiedIOSH Managing Safely qualification (Desirable)
- verifiedExperience with Lean tools and continuous improvement practices (Desirable)
- verifiedExperience in ceramics manufacturing (Desirable)
Nice to Have
Previous experience in ceramics manufacturing. Familiarity with ERP systems and data-driven production environments. IOSH Managing Safely qualification. Experience with Lean tools and continuous improvement practices.
