Production Operator

About the Role

This position is essential to maintaining the efficiency and quality of our production facility. You will be responsible for the setup, adjustment, and maintenance of processing equipment, ensuring it operates according to assigned specifications. The role requires close collaboration with production personnel and supervisors to manage the flow of materials, from corrugate and labels to bottles and cans, while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Your day will involve operating machinery, performing visual inspections to ensure defect-free work, and managing minor package change-overs. You will monitor the flow of products into machines, clear jams, and verify that coding, closures, and graphics meet schedule requirements. A key part of your responsibility is maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly before and after each run.

Work Environment

This role is based in manufacturing and warehouse plants where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. The environment can be noisy, particularly during peak production times. The position involves regular physical activity, including standing for long periods, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You may also be required to push or pull heavy loads using a dolly or pallet jack.

Applicants should be willing to work a flexible full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays, and must be able to provide their own transportation to various organizational service areas.
