About the Role

The Mechanic III position is a pivotal role designed to keep our production lines running smoothly. Whether specializing in electrical systems or machinist duties, you will be the expert responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and equipment. You will work directly with blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications to diagnose malfunctions, replace defective parts, and perform routine maintenance.

This is a hands-on role where you will not only fix issues but also collaborate with the Engineering Department to modify equipment for improved performance and assist in the implementation of new maintenance programs. You will serve as a technical resource for the production department, helping with equipment set-ups and changeovers, while also mentoring new mechanics and operators.

Work Environment & Culture

You will be working in a dynamic manufacturing plant environment. This role requires adaptability to various physical demands, including working around moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and motorized vehicles. Safety is paramount; you will be expected to operate and repair equipment in a manner that minimizes risk to personnel and inventory while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping.
