Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the Role

This position is designed for a skilled maintenance professional dedicated to keeping plant equipment running at peak efficiency. The role serves as a critical bridge between technical repair and production continuity, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems operate without interruption. Success in this role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding industrial machinery while collaborating closely with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.

Day in the Life

You will spend your time troubleshooting complex issues with industrial machinery, performing routine preventive maintenance on engines, motors, and conveyor systems, and managing equipment inventories. The work involves interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer instructions to execute repairs on 3-phase motors, VFDs, and PLCs. A significant portion of the day is also dedicated to maintaining accurate digital records of all maintenance activities and anticipating parts needs to expedite orders.

Industry Context

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in industrial machinery maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting. While experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus, the core focus is on the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently to ensure operational reliability.
