Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoordinate with engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure project requirements are met
- check_circleEnsure timeliness, safety, and quality of material movement and maintain a safe work environment
- check_circleValidate and update department training curriculum and ensure employees complete required training
- check_circleEnsure department budgets are met and assist in the preparation of capital and expense budgets
- check_circleDirect operations across manufacturing facilities to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- check_circleIdentify and prioritize the acquisition of tools and capital equipment to improve department efficiency
- check_circlePlan, develop, and implement product production lines and assembly activities
- check_circleSchedule, assign, and monitor work orders while ensuring adherence to redline and as-built drawing processes
- check_circleManage load planning, workspace forecasting, and headcount based on backlog and workload
- check_circleEstablish work unit objectives, standards, and standard work procedures to improve productivity
- check_circleDevelop, monitor, and report on operating costs and alert management to overruns
- check_circleHire, train, develop, and appraise staff while addressing performance issues
Requirements
- verified7-10 years technical experience in manufacturing/industrial setting
