About the Role
This Production Lead position is based at a food manufacturing facility near Brooks City Base on the southeast side of San Antonio, TX. You will operate and lead multiple pieces of production line equipment across various areas during the 3rd shift, assembling and disassembling machinery based on production schedules. In this team-oriented environment, you will coordinate labor under supervisor direction to meet production targets while maintaining efficiency and workflow.
Your day will involve accurately documenting production downtime, machine setting changes, and materials used for each run. You will train and support production employees on equipment operation, safety practices, and quality standards, clearly explaining processes and answering questions. Additionally, you will monitor line performance, troubleshoot basic issues, and communicate with leadership to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production procedures.
This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food manufacturing and production supervision with exposure to multiple production areas. You will work closely with operations leadership in a setting involving machinery, noise, and production-floor conditions, adhering to strict safety and documentation protocols.
