About the Role
The Downline Operator serves as a vital link in the production workflow, ensuring the efficient stacking of pallets, replenishment of materials, and maintenance of a clean operational environment. This role exists to support the seamless flow of finished goods from the production line to storage, maintaining the high standards of quality and safety that define Finlays Solutions.
Day-to-day, the operator works within a dynamic warehouse environment where temperature fluctuations can range significantly. The position requires active engagement with packaging materials, machinery assistance, and waste disposal, all while adhering to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety protocols. Success in this role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with line drivers and other departments to resolve machine faults and ensure production continuity.

- check_circleChange and install label rolls and make minor label delay adjustments
- check_circleStage and organize packaging materials including trays, glue, and labels
- check_circleDispose of downline waste such as cardboard and pallet bands
- check_circleMaintain case coder operations including date setting and ink cartridge installation
- check_circleMaintain detailed documentation including loss time production data in RedZone
- check_circleStack and palletize finished goods for storage
- check_circleVerify product lot numbers, case codes, and SKUs before and during production
- check_circleAllocate and load packaging materials before and during production runs
Requirements
