About the Role
Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber, cable, hardware, and equipment to becoming a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings: carrier network and enterprise network.
The Product Line Specialist role is designed to manage the day-to-day business of the Product Line team while assisting in the execution of strategic objectives. You will serve as a foundational expert on customer applications, supporting new product development and leading cross-functional internal teams to drive product value proposition development. This position is critical in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and market needs within our carrier and enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleWork with Value Creation and Network Architecture teams to identify new product application opportunities
- check_circleSupport customer engagements as the Voice of Customer expert for the product line
- check_circleExecute product life-cycle management strategy with the Product Line Manager
- check_circleContribute to the development of long- and short-term business strategies to maximize profitability
- check_circleSupport new product development from early stage justification to commercialization
- check_circleLead product launch activities including internal commercialization and external engagements
- check_circleLead the execution of product line pricing strategy including base, floor, and contract pricing
- check_circleMaintain alignment with Supply Chain and manufacturing teams to ensure demand and supply match forecasts
- check_circleResolve product, quality, and service issues to ensure quick customer resolution
Requirements
