The Vehicle Engineer serves as the lead architect for engineering and designing new wheelchair-accessible vehicles from concept to completion. In this capacity, you will oversee the design and integration of all vehicle systems, setting the overall development strategy while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. This role is pivotal in driving the creation of accessible transportation solutions that meet rigorous safety and performance standards.
You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of 13 engineers in Winamac, IN, to ensure successful project completion. The position offers a dynamic work environment as the company undertakes significant facility and automation upgrades, providing ample opportunities for growth and advancement across various senior engineering levels (categories 1-7).
