This position serves as the face of our brand within retail environments, focusing on engaging shoppers through interactive food and non-food demonstrations. The Associate is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere where consumers can experience products firsthand, transforming passive browsing into active interest.
The role exists to bridge the gap between product features and consumer needs. By proactively intercepting shoppers and demonstrating items with enthusiasm and professionalism, the Associate drives brand awareness and sales. The day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of preparation, execution, and cleanup, ensuring that every interaction leaves a positive impression.
This is a part-time role, typically scheduled for up to 25 hours per week, though hours may fluctuate based on business needs and client requirements. The position is based in a retail store environment with limited travel. Success in this role requires a high level of adaptability, as the Associate must maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation while managing various small appliances and cleaning chemicals.
Professionalism is paramount. Associates are expected to maintain a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance that aligns with specific retailer dress codes. Additionally, the role requires the ability to build rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, or have one to three months of related experience. Proficiency with personal computers, mobile devices, and standard software (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PDF) is required to handle online reporting and documentation. A local food handler's permit may be necessary depending on the location.
