About the Role
This position serves as the face of our brand within retail environments, focusing on engaging shoppers through live food and non-food demonstrations. The Associate is responsible for creating a positive, professional experience that highlights product features and benefits directly to consumers. Success in this role requires a blend of culinary preparation skills, sales aptitude, and the ability to maintain a sterile, safe, and inviting workstation.
Day in the Life
Your day begins with setting up the event table and preparing equipment such as microwaves, fryers, and coffee makers. You will actively intercept shoppers, engaging them in conversation to demonstrate products and share their unique value propositions. Throughout the shift, you will prepare and serve food samples while ensuring the area remains clean and compliant with safety standards. The role also involves building rapport with store personnel to meet company objectives, completing expense reports, and submitting daily online requirements. While the role is designed for up to 25 hours per week, flexibility is required to adapt to business and client needs.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role will undergo training that includes specific retailer dress code requirements and safety protocols. Local food handler permits may be required prior to starting.
