We have exciting opportunities for a Production Machinist at our Middletown, CT facility. This role is based on the 3rd shift, running Monday through Friday from approximately 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
In this position, you will setup and operate machine tools or process equipment to produce precision turbine engine parts. You will work from verbal and written instructions, operation sheets, and drawings to achieve required dimensional specifications using manual or numerically controlled machines. Your day will involve performing bench, assembly, and surface finishing operations, including deburring, blending, trimming, and fitting. You will also utilize various measuring instruments to check dimensions and operate computer-based systems to retrieve and store records. Additionally, you will perform routine servicing to ensure equipment operates properly and may be required to maintain specific licenses and certifications within the assigned area.
