This is a 3rd Shift position focused on leading and coaching a team within a production environment. The role exists to ensure operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of safety and food safety compliance. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for optimizing employee engagement through positive leadership and driving performance across the work area.
Your day involves leading, coaching, and training your team to meet production goals. You will constantly promote safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies, food safety programs, OSHA guidelines, and GMPs. A key part of your responsibility is managing proper scheduling to keep the production area running smoothly. You will also work to motivate the team, utilizing your interpersonal and communication skills to foster a productive environment.
This role takes place in a dynamic plant environment. You may be exposed to noise levels exceeding 85 decibels, CO2, and moving production lines. The setting can be damp, wet, and cold, and you will work around live and/or raw animal odors. While the position requires a general knowledge of plant operations, the physical demands include occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
