As an Occupational Therapist in Home Health, you will be the cornerstone of patient care within the home setting. This role exists to assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, and home safety. You will work within the scope of practice defined by state laws, utilizing evidence-based techniques to develop and execute therapy plans of care in coordination with physicians and the broader healthcare team.
Your day will involve conducting comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate functional ability and body systems. You will observe and report patient responses to treatment, ensuring that care plans evolve with the patient's condition. You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that challenges you, offering clear direction on success and providing development opportunities for future roles.
Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment. We look for individuals who can function in any home situation regardless of the client's background.
