Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist in orientation of new staff members and participate in in-service education programs
- check_circleConduct thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to renal failure and treatments
- check_circleCoordinate care with healthcare teams, nephrologists, and facility management
- check_circleAdminister medications and teach patients about safe dosage, reasons, and side effects
- check_circleMaintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, treatments, and lab reports
- check_circlePerform hemodialysis treatment procedures delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
- check_circleReport errors, near misses, and patient concerns to appropriate leadership
- check_circleDevelop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with renal failure
- check_circleObtain laboratory specimens, perform routine tests, and interpret common lab results
- check_circleParticipate in Quality Assurance, QAPI committees, and performance improvement projects
- check_circleEnsure compliance with infection control policies and safety standards
- check_circleManage unit operations including machine setup, cleaning, and supply stocking
Requirements
- verifiedGraduation from an accredited nursing school
- verifiedCurrent RN License for New Jersey
- verifiedCurrent CPR certification
- verifiedOne year of Hemodialysis RN experience within the past two years
- verifiedEnglish language proficiency
