The Principal Trainer serves as a strategic partner within the IT&S Training department, responsible for the development and delivery of Epic application-specific training. This role is critical in bridging the gap between technical system builds and end-user adoption. You will act as a self-starter, collaborating closely with Application resources and managers to ensure seamless training execution.
In this position, you will lead the coordination of end-user support activities, working alongside Application Analysts to create workflows, troubleshoot issues, and recommend mitigation plans. The role requires a deep understanding of hospital and outpatient clinical or administrative workflows to develop role-specific lesson plans, competency exams, and training materials. You will manage the "Train-the-Trainer" program, oversee the build of training data in the environment, and provide flexible, on-call support during go-live and post-go-live phases to ensure user success.
Candidates selected for this position will be evaluated based on their educational background, skills, and professional experience. The compensation offered reflects the anticipated annual salary range for the position if hired to work in New Jersey and is determined by these factors.
