Principal Technical Recruiting Specialist

About the Role

As a key talent advisor, you will serve as a strategic partner to client organizations, providing consultative leadership across the full spectrum of talent acquisition. This role is designed for a seasoned expert who acts as a labor market analyst, candidate career coach, hiring strategy consultant, and process change agent. You will lead large, complex recruiting initiatives of strategic importance, coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive organizational growth.

In this capacity, you will deeply partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand position requirements, develop accurate candidate profiles, and establish comprehensive hiring plans. Your focus will be on executing advanced staffing and sourcing strategies for professional-level candidates, specifically targeting both funded and proposal requisitions within corporate, federal civilian, health, and defense market segments. You will be responsible for building and tracking high-quality pipelines of passive and active talent, with a specialized emphasis on cleared and technical roles.

Beyond direct sourcing, you will act as a resident talent acquisition expert, leading training initiatives and disseminating best practices to the recruitment team. You will manage a team of sourcing recruiters overseeing special projects, including aging funded requisitions, high-priority roles, and quick-turnaround proposal efforts. Your day-to-day involves influencing senior leadership through strategic briefings, evaluating new sourcing tools, and ensuring all recruiting activities comply with relevant regulations, including OFCCP.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate extensive experience in complex recruitment projects and executive IT sourcing. The selection process involves a thorough evaluation of your strategic sourcing capabilities, including proficiency in open-source intelligence, x-ray searching, Boolean searching, and social media strategies within the government contracting space.
