The Battle Management Software (BMS) mission is to provide world-class software for our customers' wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. The BMS software team in Ft. Wayne, IN, is dedicated to aligning with core Agile and DevSecOps principles. We focus on collaborative operations across the entire value stream to deliver high-frequency, high-quality deployments to our customers.
You will join a collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product team to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications. This position is 100% onsite in Ft. Wayne, IN. You will participate in agile execution and continuous improvement, working closely with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests against the existing system baseline. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of aerospace and defense while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
This position requires an active U.S. government Secret security clearance. Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 5 years experience. Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe, and DevSecOps. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements. Experience contributing to a team environment for developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems. Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible. Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment with CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Red Hat and Linux Operating Systems. Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles. Experience with design, code, integration, and test of large systems.
