About the Role
As a Principal Risk Associate in the EDRM team, you will apply your analytical, data management, and process management skills to support the development and adoption of the Data Management Strategy. You will collaborate with the EDRM team and partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to drive the transformation and change necessary to achieve strategic objectives and reduce data risk.
Risk professionals in EDRM are highly motivated individuals with excellent organization, problem-solving, influence, and communication skills. You will have the opportunity to ensure Capital One maintains strong data management controls and practices. As the technology landscape evolves, so do our Principal Risk Associates. You will operate from a foundation of knowledge regarding the divisions you work with, laws and regulations, processes, and associated controls. You will be forward-thinking, quick to adapt, and technologically adept, positively influencing Capital One's data management maturity journey by providing recommendations on controls and best practices.
