Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAnalyze data to facilitate process improvements and implement process certification projects
- check_circleDevelop and stand up methods of process certification and control for legacy manufacturing
- check_circleConduct reject data analysis using Solumina and SAP to implement process and design changes
- check_circleSupport outsourced process suppliers with process certification and improvement activities
- check_circleCreate and maintain key relationships with suppliers to resolve production challenges
- check_circleCollect and compile data to drive continuous improvement initiatives at suppliers
- check_circleExecute proactive supply base improvement plans with Engineering and Procurement
- check_circleImplement Statistical Process Control (SPC) on current and future production processes
- check_circleEngage with stakeholders and visit suppliers to improve overall quality signature
Requirements
- verifiedU.S. citizenship required
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years experience
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- verifiedUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Nice to Have
Degree in aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or quality engineering. Hands-on work experience in a quality environment. Working knowledge of AS9100. Proficiency in SAP/Solumina. Certified Quality Engineer or Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt. Practical experience in APQP techniques. Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
