You will join the Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department, where the primary goal is to design, develop, and support land and sea-based radar systems. This role exists to enhance the sustainability of our current radar products by bridging the gap between legacy and modern technologies.
As a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you will be the unique engineer tasked with transitioning legacy radar hardware and software to current platforms. Your day-to-day will involve maintaining and troubleshooting deployed systems while actively porting legacy Unix and VxWorks software to modern Linux environments. You will work on meaningful problems that ensure the continued reliability of critical defense infrastructure.
This is a 1st shift role based in Marlborough, MA (1001 Boston Post Rd, Building 2). The position is 100% onsite. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote.
This position requires an active DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain this clearance after day one. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
