You will join the Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department, where the primary goal is to design, develop, and support land and sea-based radar systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance the sustainability of our current radar products. The ideal candidate will leverage experience in legacy radar hardware and software technologies, with a specific focus on transitioning these products to modern technologies while maintaining, troubleshooting, and patching our deployed systems.
As a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you will be the bridge between established legacy infrastructure and future-ready architectures. Your day-to-day will involve deep technical work supporting the sustainment of legacy radar systems, including complex troubleshooting and maintenance. A key part of your mission will be porting legacy Unix and VxWorks software to modern Linux systems or identifying viable replacements, ensuring our critical defense capabilities remain robust and up-to-date.
This position is a 1st shift, 100% onsite role based in Marlborough, MA. Security Clearance Requirements
This role requires an active U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret). U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
