About the Role

The Principal Design Manager leads the end-to-end design lifecycle for large-scale Oracle Cloud data center projects, ensuring critical infrastructure is delivered safely, reliably, and at scale. Operating as an individual contributor within a matrixed team, this role partners closely with cross-disciplinary engineering, construction, and operations teams to drive alignment from concept through commissioning.

You will represent the Design organization in cross-functional forums, resolving complex technical and execution challenges while advocating for solutions that optimize long-term business outcomes. The position requires building strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders, external design consultants, construction partners, and vendors. Success in this role involves traveling to data center sites (approximately 10-25%) to support field execution, resolve design-related issues, and collaborate with construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
