About the Role

The Principal Coach-District Shepherd is dedicated to improving student achievement and strengthening instructional leadership across the district. The position prioritizes intensive support for three Learning Lab school leaders while simultaneously cultivating cross-school learning, leadership team formation, and systems-level improvement.

In this role, you will create trusting, growth-oriented relationships with principals to foster clear vision, strong culture, and reflective practice. You will provide standards-based leadership coaching aligned with the district's strategic plan, emphasizing the development of principals as instructional and change leaders. By facilitating leadership learning communities, you will promote collaboration and shared problem-solving to accelerate school improvement and instructional coherence.

As a member of the district's core change team, you will align coaching with district transformation efforts, contributing insights from schools to inform broader system enhancements. This includes participating in executive education and leadership learning experiences alongside school leaders to strengthen collective leadership capacity.
