The Effector RF Design Team is seeking a talented Principal Engineer to join our operations in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will lead and shape the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and radar cross section (RCS) ranges and chambers. You will provide technical oversight, delegate tasks, and work with the Engineering organization to establish technology roadmaps, enable modernization, and contribute to general innovation. Additionally, you will define and refine requirements to validate range and chamber compliance alongside government personnel, while providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to employees across the business within your areas of expertise.

Education: Bachelor's degree in STEM required with 8+ years experience; Master of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred; PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Master of Science (MS) or PhD in electrical engineering. Significant experience simulating and/or estimating the effects of propagation, reflections, and scattering on an antenna under test (AUT) in an anechoic chamber. Experience measuring hardware for RCS. Significant experience specifying, building, and validating antenna, radome, and/or RCS ranges/chambers. Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, and/or other high-level scientific programming languages. Proficiency with high performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM. Proficiency with modeling and simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, and GRASP. Experience designing and testing conformal antennas. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple sources. Strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment with positive interaction. Demonstrated ability to put forth and drive technical execution plans. Knowledgeable of management processes, such as Earned Value. Experience presenting in technical reviews. Understanding of near-field-to-far-field processing algorithms. Experience designing datalink, flight termination, telemetry, and/or GPS antenna systems. Experience being a Cost Account Manager or Integrated Product Team Lead.
