About the Role

The Effector RF Design Team at Raytheon is seeking a talented Principal Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this onsite role, you will lead and shape the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and/or radar cross section (RCS) ranges and chambers. You will serve as a technical leader, guiding project teams, delegating tasks, and collaborating with the Engineering organization to establish technology roadmaps and drive innovation.

You will work closely with government personnel and programs to define and refine requirements, ensuring range and chamber compliance. A key part of your day will involve providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to employees across the business within your areas of expertise, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Hiring and Interview Process

This position requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (DoD Secret) prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is mandatory as only citizens are eligible for this clearance. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
