About the Role
This position serves as a technical expert on pricing, directing the work of junior and senior actuarial analysts while reporting directly to the Chief Insurance Officer. You will manage the Pricing function, monitoring underwriting results and overseeing complex financial and actuarial valuation functions. Your work involves planning and directing activities in conjunction with product implementations, ensuring that rate level indications and pricing segmentation methodologies are robust and aligned with company targets.
Beyond technical analysis, you will foster a high-performance team culture through effective performance management, career development, and coaching. You will collaborate across all management levels, working with Sales, Product, Finance, and IT to respond to market trends and solve implementation challenges. Hiring Process & Application
While there is some flexibility in hours, this position operates Monday through Friday during regular business hours (approximately 8:00 am–5:00 pm), with occasional overtime as needed. This is a hybrid role based out of our San Diego, CA office, requiring onsite work 2–3 days a week.

Requirements
