About the Opportunity

This senior leadership role serves as the primary bridge between reserving actuaries and the data engineering team within an Agile delivery environment. As the Director, you will provide strategic direction and oversee the day-to-day health of the actuarial loss data platform, the actuarial reserving system, and a suite of related production tools. These assets are classified as tier 1 with significant SOX compliance obligations.

At its core, this role is about translating business needs into execution-ready solutions. You will act as the voice of the end-user—the reserving actuarial community—ensuring that what gets built solves the right problems, is designed with compliance in mind from the start, and remains sustainable over the long term. This requires operating with a high degree of autonomy on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives where business problems are often ambiguous and technical implications are significant.

You will own the product backlog and roadmap for the platform portfolio, lead a team of Business Analysts, and partner closely with data engineers, corporate actuarial teams, and enterprise data and analytics stakeholders. Success in this role demands equal parts analytical rigor, domain credibility, and the interpersonal influence needed to align diverse partners around shared priorities.
