About the Role
LSF is seeking a talented Preschool Program Aide to make a tangible impact in the lives of children and families. This role is designed for someone who wants to be an integral part of a supportive team, assisting in classroom activities, kitchen operations, and transportation as needed. You will work alongside teachers and specialists to support the daily needs of children, including those with special needs, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and culturally responsive environment.
As a team player, you will participate in the HS/EHS Quality Assurance efforts and help maintain the highest standards of care. Whether you are assisting with lesson plans, supervising mealtime to encourage good nutrition and social skills, or supporting families during events, your contribution is vital to the program's success. You may be assigned to various locations as necessary for program operations.
Hiring Process & Requirements
To join our team, candidates must successfully complete a Level II background screening, local criminal record check, health, TB, and drug screening prior to hiring. LSF is mandated to perform background screenings in accordance with the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. New hires must enroll in the required 45 hours of Florida Child Care Facility Training within 90 days and complete it within 12 months. Additionally, certification in First Aid and CPR is required within 90 days of the date of hire.
