As a Prep Cook, you will be an essential part of a team dedicated to preparing a variety of salads, hot vegetables, condiments, and related menu items for our cafeteria and catering services. Your work ensures that quality, efficiency, and customer service remain our highest priorities.
In this role, you will observe the safest possible food handling practices, from thoroughly washing produce and sanitizing work surfaces to adhering to all hygiene requirements when handling ready-to-eat foods. You will support the menu management process, including assistance with ordering and inventory, while translating weights, measures, and volumes to ensure consistency. Flexibility is key, as work locations, tasks, and assignments may vary routinely in response to changes in business needs, customer demand, or staffing.
You will be an effective communicator, comfortable responding to customer questions or concerns in an expedient and appropriate manner. Whether assisting chefs with food preparation, operating and cleaning equipment, or delivering on Restaurant Hospitality standards, your contribution helps create a seamless experience for our customers and servers.
