The Corrections Oversight Worker serves as a vital link in the food service operations within correctional facilities, ensuring that meal production aligns with strict production plans and safety standards. In this unique environment, you will supervise inmates to oversee food preparation and tray assembly, while simultaneously training workers in proper duties and coordinating workflows to maximize operational efficiency.
Your day involves more than just oversight; you will actively participate in meal preparation and serving, ensuring timely service that meets all Aramark guidelines. You will manage critical aspects of facility sanitation, security, and inventory, from reviewing temperature logs to ensuring all kitchen tools and keys are properly secured. This role requires the ability to exercise good judgment and tact while motivating a team in a correctional setting, balancing the demands of food safety (HACCP policies) with the unique security protocols of the facility.
