The Corrections Oversight Worker serves as a vital link in the food service operations within correctional facilities, supervising inmates to ensure meals are prepared in strict accordance with production plans and safety standards. This role goes beyond simple oversight; it involves training workers in proper duties, coordinating daily workflows to maximize efficiency, and maintaining the highest levels of facility sanitation and personal safety.
In this position, you will direct inmates in the use of recipes and cooking procedures while ensuring that all Aramark guidelines, including HACCP policies, are met. The role requires a balance of operational management and security adherence, from managing inventory and storage to ensuring all kitchen tools and keys are secured. You will participate in the full lifecycle of meal production—from preparation and portion control to serving—while maintaining accurate daily population counts and adhering to strict security policies.
