About the Role

As a Culinary I associate, you will be responsible for food production, preparation, and a la carte cooking according to company standards. This role is designed for those who want to grow their culinary careers; the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel has partnered with Rouxbe Cooking School to offer culinary associates engaging online training opportunities. Through this self-paced platform, associates with all levels of experience can access hundreds of lessons to immediately apply to their jobs.

In this position, you will perform basic knife skills, prepare baked and pastry items, and maintain clean and organized kitchen areas. You will support the front line following management guidelines and ensure all operations adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and sanitation guidelines. This is a non-management, full-time position located at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
