About the Role
This role is designed for passionate nurses ready to jump-start their careers in a dynamic environment. As a PreOp PACU RN Float Pool nurse, you will partner with the surgical team to plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for patients preoperatively and postoperatively until discharge. Your day will involve preparing care areas, ensuring equipment availability, conducting comprehensive physical and psychological assessments, and administering pre-operative medications and IV therapy. You will play a critical role in monitoring patients, checking operative sites, and ensuring they meet all discharge criteria, all while maintaining the warmth, compassion, and dignity that Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr. envisioned for great institutions.
